About Us

Gareth McMurdo is our sole Clinical Dental Technician. After growing up in Te Anau and Queenstown, he studied a Diploma of Dental Technology at the Central Institute of Technology in Upper Hutt and then went on to do a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology at the University of Otago in Dunedin.

Gareth has worked in a variety of dental labs in both New Zealand and Australia, giving him over 18 years of industry experience.

Gareth, having grown up locally, was eager to move back home with his wife and two boys, to follow his long-time plan of opening up his own denture clinic. The Denture Centre Queenstown opened its doors in February 2015 and quickly established a solid reputation across the greater Central Otago region.
